Business Analyst

Job Description

. Engage with business stakeholders to understand problems, business needs, and opportunities. Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.

. Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements, or technical specifications.

. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, walkthroughs, and requirement-gathering sessions.

. Work closely with business and technical teams to support solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives.

. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other project stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution support, defect triage, and resolution tracking.

. Clarify requirements during development and help manage scope and requirement changes.

. Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across the project lifecycle. Ensure effective communication and alignment between business and technology teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

. Strong experience in Business Analysis and requirements gathering/documentation.

. Hands-on experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.

. Understanding of APIs, system integrations, SDLC, and software development concepts.

. Experience in UAT planning, coordination, test case review, and defect management.

. Strong business domain knowledge, preferably with experience working on financial projects.

. Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

. Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear technical requirements.

. Comfortable working with technical teams and able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
