Our client is looking for Business Analysts to support transformation projects within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) space. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging business objectives with technology solutions, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, well-defined, and aligned with strategic, operational, and regulatory needs across the Asia region.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Elicit, analyse, and translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable business requirements, features, and user stories for development and delivery teams.
- Maintain high-quality documentation, ensuring that business requirements are traceable through to functional and technical implementation.
Process Modelling & Analysis
- Support process modelling exercises to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across business workflows.
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the implications of new initiatives or regulatory changes on existing systems, processes, and controls.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with the Product Owner (PO) and key business stakeholders to define priorities, clarify requirements, and align deliverables with strategic objectives.
- Support the PO in stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely communication of progress, challenges, and dependencies.
Estimation & Planning Support
- Support the estimation of new requirements and change requests by collaborating with technical teams and vendors to assess scope, complexity, and effort.
Compliance & Regulatory Alignment
- Ensure all requirements and proposed solutions are compliant with applicable regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Work with Compliance and Risk stakeholders to validate that business and system changes adhere to MAS and HKMA guidelines for Private Banking.
Vendor Management & Solution Integration
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate solutions, manage integration efforts, and ensure external systems meet business and compliance expectations.
- Support testing and validation activities to ensure vendor deliverables align with requirements and quality standards.
Skillsets preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Financial Services industry.
- Strong understanding of the Asia Compliance landscape, particularly MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) and HKMA (Hong Kong Monetary Authority) regulations and recommendations.
- Hands-on experience in vendor management and solution integration, ideally within complex financial system environments.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) for requirement tracking and collaboration.
