Job Summary
Provide analysis on reported cases and define configuration specifications and business analyst requirements. Collaborate with teams to optimize and enhance systems using the OutSystems Rapid Application Development platform. Design, develop, and maintain system processes and integrations, ensuring quality and alignment with architecture standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze reported cases to define configuration specifications and business analyst requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance system performance and functionality
- Design, document, and maintain system processes to support business needs
- Propose and design solutions within stipulated timeframes and budgets using the OutSystems platform
- Ensure proposed solutions align with overall architecture design and comply with program and technical standards
- Design and develop integration points and interfaces with SAP, third-party software, and other applications
- Propose solutions to fulfill business requirements and identify opportunities for process streamlining
- Develop programs according to functional specifications and verify they meet business requirements
- Provide technical support during system integration and user acceptance testing, implementing code changes as needed
- Ensure developed programs pass vulnerability assessments and code quality inspections
- Plan and execute cutover activities for assigned modules
- Deliver comprehensive project documentation including design specifications, program specifications, and unit test plans
- Provide on-site support when necessary and troubleshoot issues before and after solution implementation
- Optimize system design and application functionality configuration
- Maintain high quality of deliverables and participate in quality assurance activities
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in change request processes including impact assessment, development, and testing
- Prepare and report progress status updates to the Project Manager and management in a timely manner
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with OutSystems Rapid Application Development platform
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and producing high-quality deliverables
- Minimum of two (2) years of Business Analyst experience
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
