Job Description

  • Must have experience in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain within a financial institution or banking environment.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking operations, processes, and systems, particularly within AML and Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Core BA Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes, gather and define requirements, and translate business needs into practical solutions from an end-user perspective.
  • Documentation: Proficiency in preparing business and project documentation with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Language: Business-level proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments, including business users, IT teams, compliance functions, and external vendors.
  • AML Functional Areas: Hands-on experience or deep knowledge in KYC (Know Your Customer), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Transaction Monitoring, Transaction Filtering, and Name Screening.
  • System Implementation: Experience supporting system implementation activities, including UAT coordination, defect management, and post-implementation support.
  • Process Transformation: Proven track record in business process enhancement, transformation initiatives, or system implementation projects within the banking industry.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Experience in project progress tracking, issue management, and risk management.
  • Regional Experience: Exposure to regional or cross-borderprojects and experience coordinating with Japan-based stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • Departmental Background: Prior experience working directly within a bank's AML, Compliance, or Financial Crime department is an advantage.
  • Advanced Testing & Migration: Knowledge of cutover planning, data migration, and UAT across multi-country implementations is preferred.
  • Emerging Technologies: Experience with digital assets, cryptocurrency, or blockchain-related initiatives is an added advantage.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, ECBA) or Project Management are a plus.
