Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in ESG reporting, banking domain knowledge, and a strong background in data analysis and software development. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support ESG-related initiatives, ensure compliance with reporting standards, and deliver impactful solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

ESG Reporting and Domain Expertise:

Develop a thorough understanding of the system ecosystem and architecture related to ESG.

Stay updated on ESG reporting standards, including CSRD.

Manage data requirements, backlogs, epics, and user stories for ESG-related projects.

Conduct quick impact assessments for backlog items and prioritize based on business needs.

Project and Delivery Management:

Collaborate with Product Management and Delivery Teams to support project/program success.

Monitor and evaluate progress across delivery cycles, ensuring alignment with Release/Sprint goals.

Coordinate development activities with ESG and Capgemini teams.

Issue Analysis and Resolution:

Investigate and resolve ad-hoc issues with squads, ensuring timely communication of fixes to users.

Engage stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary to expedite resolution.

Documentation and Governance:

Ensure adherence to process governance standards and maintain required artifacts.

Work with Operational Risk, Business, Tech Compliance, Responsible AI Council, and other stakeholders to secure necessary approvals for deployment.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

Build effective working relationships across functions and geographies.

Manage diverse stakeholder communities to deliver change across multiple functions.

Business Analysis and Testing:

Write detailed business requirements and functional specifications.

Collaborate with vendors and internal technology teams to facilitate specifications work.

Plan and conduct testing to ensure traceability between business requirements and test cases.

Provide specialist support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking, Finance, Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business implementation delivery, preferably in corporate banking or financial markets.

Demonstrable experience managing or influencing teams across locations.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in SQL, with experience querying and manipulating data in Oracle, PostGres, and Hive tables.

Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Scala is a plus.

Knowledge of APIs, gateways, data streaming, and Machine Learning models.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to summarize technical and governance documents into actionable points.

Fast learner with a curious and proactive mindset.

Agile Methodology:

Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and conceptual understanding of its practices.
