Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Business Advisory Services Consultant to support and guide F&B businesses in improving profitability, operational efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance. This role is ideal for someone who understands the real operational challenges of F&B outlets and is passionate about helping business owners streamline processes, control costs, and grow sustainably. You will work closely with restaurant owners, caf operators, and F&B entrepreneurs to analyze their business performance and provide practical, actionable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data of F&B businesses to identify opportunities for profitability improvement and cost control
- Develop and implement tailored strategies that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with F&B business owners to diagnose operational challenges and deliver practical, actionable recommendations that drive sustainable growth
- Guide clients in streamlining business processes to optimize resource allocation and improve overall business performance
- Monitor client progress and adjust advisory approaches to achieve measurable business outcomes and continuous improvement
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate strong understanding of F&B cost structures, operations, and industry challenges to effectively advise clients
- Interpret financial statements accurately to support data-driven decision-making
- Apply knowledge of Singapore F&B regulations and licensing requirements to ensure client compliance
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to assess business performance and identify improvement areas
- Communicate and present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Work independently and resourcefully with business owners at various organizational levels
- Utilize Microsoft Excel proficiently for data analysis and reporting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience managing multi-outlet F&B operations to provide insights on scalability and operational complexity
- Background in accounting or finance to enhance financial advisory capabilities
