Westpoint Transit is looking for Bus Drivers to join our growing team, who will be in charge of performing and completing daily trips as assigned by the Operations team.

The scope of work of this role will be as follows:

1. Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently to transport passengers to various destinations as assigned by the Operations Team

2. Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle: Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip to ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition

3. Communicate and report all mechanical issues, accidents, and incidents to the Operations Team in a timely manner

4. Adhere to the company's driver guidelines

We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications:

1. Must possess a valid driving licence and Bus Driver Vocational License

2. At least 1 year of relevant experience

3. Preferred for candidate to be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, although not mandatory

4. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
