Key Responsibilities
As a Bunker Operations Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end logistical lifecycle of our survey operations:
- Schedule Optimization: Actively plan, program, and manage daily schedules for bunker surveyors to maximize field efficiency.
- End-to-End Planning: Handle comprehensive pre- and post-survey coordination, ensuring surveyors are fully equipped with the data and parameters they need before heading out.
- Vessel Tracking: Proactively monitor vessel movements, status updates, and ETAs, coordinating closely with all relevant maritime stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain seamless, real-time communication with ship agencies, vessel masters, and bunker suppliers to preempt and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the absolute accuracy and timeliness of all operational logs, schedules, and compliance documentation.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who understands the fast-moving nature of port operations and possesses strong industry knowledge:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
- Experience: Prior experience in bunker surveying operations or maritime logistics is highly advantageous (open to promising entry-level candidates with the right qualification).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with bunkering standards and frameworks, specifically SS 600, TR 48, SS 648, and ISO 17020.
- Regulatory Compliance: Good understanding of port rules, regulations, and vessel scheduling permits.
- Field Readiness: Comfortable with occasional vessel boarding when operational needs arise.
- Soft Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage both internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
