What The Role Is
Our Building Quality Group primarily manages the construction and delivery of the HDB Building Programme.
What You Will Be Working On
You will join a section in the Building Quality Group to manage the areas of checking digital implementation at site, driving office technology implementation, and digital building plan records management.
Checking Digital Implementation at site used in construction management and related processes:
- You will lead a team to check digital technology implementation at site in accordance with HDB's contract specifications.
- This role involves occasional site visits to various project locations to conduct physical inspections and may require flexible working hours to respond to urgent operational needs.
- You will liaise and work with Building Contractors, Consultants and IT vendors to ascertain the project site's compliance level, formulate reports for sign-off and carry out subsequent presentations and reporting to Management.
Office Technology implementation and governance: - You will be overseeing and driving digital technology implementation in our Office, managing software / hardware, IT vendors, and ensuring compliance and governance.
- This includes the digital transformation of our Building Plan Office to manage our growing stock of digital building plan records.
- You will liaise with Building Consultants and Town Council representatives on the tracking and provision of digital as-built records.
What We Are Looking For
You should possess a good background in any discipline, have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, be analytical, self-motivated and an effective team player. You should be sufficiently proficient and interested in productivity digital tools. Knowledge in BIM technologies, Integrated Digital Delivery, Geographic Information System (GIS) or experience in managing and reviewing contract specifications will be advantageous.
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
