Assist in the preparation, review, and implementation of detailed BMS engineering designs, drawings, and documentation.
Support the selection, procurement, and delivery of BMS equipment, hardware, and software in line with project specifications.
Supervise and coordinate BMS installation works with subcontractors, vendors, and other discipline engineers.
Conduct and witness testing and commissioning (T&C) of BMS components, ensuring smooth integration with HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire protection, security, and plant systems.
Support the configuration, programming, and troubleshooting of BMS controllers, graphics, and communication networks.
Ensure all site works comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare and submit method statements, test plans, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for technical clarifications, inspections, and approvals.
Provide technical support during system handover and assist in resolving defects during the Defects Liability Period.
Assist the BMS Manager in tracking progress, resolving issues, and meeting project deadlines.
Job Requirements
Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in BMS works, including design, installation, and commissioning. Hands-on experience with BMS systems from major vendors (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Johnson Controls). Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC, and LonWorks. Prior experience in large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or plant projects (e.g., incineration plants, power stations, data centers) will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies: Proficient in BMS system design, programming, and integration. Strong coordination and site supervision skills. Good understanding of Singapore standards, codes, and authority requirements (e.g., BCA, EMA, SCDF). Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight schedules. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to work at Tuas area with transportation pickup at designated MRT station.
