We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to maintain HVAC system and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
about the job
- Oversee and execute the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily operations of critical facility systems across our property portfolio, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, generators, and fire protection setups.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external contractors, coordinating their schedules to ensure timely repairs and routine servicing of all facility equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency equipment breakdowns and facility-related feedback, proactively identifying and reporting any system irregularities to management.
- Maintain highly accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, effectively file service reports from external providers, and manage the inventory for spare parts and consumable items
- Execute additional ad-hoc facility operations and maintenance tasks as directed by the management team.
skills and experience required
- Diploma / Higher NITEC in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in building, facility, or property maintenance
- A valid Class 3 driving license is highly preferred for this role
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately interpret electrical diagrams and schematics, coupled with hands-on experience in performing basic electrical repairs and general maintenance work
