Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily site operations, including supervision of workers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure all works are completed according to schedule.
- Enforce compliance with workplace safety and health regulations ensure proper housekeeping on-site.
- Maintain high standards of work quality and safety throughout all construction activities.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Liaise with the Project Manager to report on site progress and any operational issues.
- Prepare and submit tender quotations and progress claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track and confirm daily work progress monitor project activities and provide updates.
- Perform general cleaning duties at various work sites as required.
- Lead and support the workforce in carrying out their duties, fostering teamwork and discipline.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to required specifications and within tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, remain organized, and adapt to changing site conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a construction supervisory role.
- Proven knowledge of building processes, safety protocols, and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor/site environment.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to communicate in English knowledge of other languages is a plus for coordination.
Preferred Skills:
- WSQ or relevant certifications in Workplace Safety and Health (e.g., BCSS).
- Experience in tender preparation and submission.
- Familiarity with project management tools or site reporting software.
- Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
