Manages daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by directing workers, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety codes, monitoring quality, managing materials, and communicating with stakeholders like architects and clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
:Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.Oversee daily activities from start to finish, ensuring progress aligns with plans.Monitor work quality, conducting inspections to meet specifications and standards.Troubleshoot issues and approve corrective actions.
:Enforce strict health and safety regulations and protocols.Identify and eliminate hazards, educating workers on safety procedures.Ensure compliance with building codes and permits.
:Hire, supervise, and delegate tasks to construction workers and subcontractors.Schedule and coordinate subcontractor activities.Provide training and resolve on-site disputes.
:Order and manage building supplies and equipment.Maintain accurate daily logs, records, and paperwork.Handle reporting, budgeting, and project documentation.
Liaise with architects, engineers, clients, and other professionals.
:Communicate project updates, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
Monitoring construction processes, and providing training and team building sessions are required.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
Performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
Scheduling regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff.
Writing up reports, budgets, project plans, and presenting them to relevant stakeholders.
Working closely with architects and other professionals.
Staying up-to-date with safety codes and advancements in construction.
Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff.
Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required.
