BUILDING CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

. Thorough knowledge of general construction and concrete construction safety standards and practices. Responsible for enforcement of safety standards with own crew and others on worksite.

. Thorough knowledge of the planning, layout, erection, and bracing of formwork for concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs.

. Thorough knowledge of the installation of reinforcing steel (including the ability to read rebar shop drawings).

. Thorough knowledge of the placement and finishing of concrete.

. Ability to provide accurate layout for line and grade, from established benchmarks.

. Competency in working at heights while following appropriate fall protection protocol.

. Working knowledge of job cost report and labour production report review and analysis.

. Thorough knowledge of corporate quality control program.

. Ability to take direction and manage multiple people.

. Excellent oral communication skills.

. Ability to read drawings and specifications.

. Basic computer knowledge.
