Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, deadline-driven Construction Supervisor to lead construction crews, ensure project quality, safety compliance, and budget adherence while coordinating with stakeholders and supporting recruitment and training efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction teams to deliver quality work within strict deadlines by fostering collaboration and clear communication
- Monitor construction processes and conduct training and team-building sessions to enhance crew performance
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on all construction sites
- Perform regular inspections of equipment, materials, and construction sites to ensure standards are met
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff to align project goals
- Prepare and present detailed reports, budgets, and project plans to relevant stakeholders for informed decision-making
- Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Stay current with safety codes and construction industry advancements to maintain best practices
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff to build a skilled and compliant workforce
- Manage project paperwork and travel to multiple sites as required to oversee operations
Required competencies and certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the construction industry
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction, business, management, or engineering
- Experience in a leadership role
