BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and work schedules
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors
• Monitor work progress and report site status to the Project Manager
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health regulations, and company procedures
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on site
• Prepare site reports, progress claims, and as-built drawings
• Attendsite meetings and coordinate inspections with relevant authorities
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience
• Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and site coordination
• Knowledge of local building regulations and safety requirements
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in MS Office and basic construction software
• Willing to work on site and overtime when required
