Role: Budgeting Analyst
Job Level: 1-5 years of relevant experience (L1/L2)

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Finance Analyst to support our Technology Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, IT operations, and project management. You will be involved in financial reporting, budget tracking, asset lifecycle management, and key finance technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and analyze PR/GR and financial reports using SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Process invoice payments and ensure timely reconciliation of technology-related expenses.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Partner with senior technology leaders to monitor and optimize budget utilization for IT projects and operations.
- Support the renewal and budgeting of software and hardware contracts.
- Assist in managing project budgets, tracking spend vs. forecasts, and identifying variances.
- Prepare monthly financial dashboards and provide insights for the Technology Finance team.
- Oversee IT asset management, including inventory tracking, issuance, and decommissioning of laptops and other hardware.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
- Support ad-hoc financial and asset-related tasks as assigned by the Technology Finance Lead
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Essential Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a finance role within a technology-driven environment, financial institution, or consulting firm(preferred).
- Graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong data management discipline.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in process improvement and automation in finance operations.
- Familiarity with PMO support in technology or banking projects (a plus).
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Domain / Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools: Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (PEMS or similar ERP systems) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of financial treatment for technology expenses (CapEx vs. OpEx).
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management(a plus).
