Ginga provides a comprehensives range of broking services for the energy market. We cover both OTC and exchange-listed futures across oil, gas, petrochemicals, biofuels, palm oil and rubber. Role Title: Broker OR Junior Broker
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate broking services to our clients in the Fuel or LPG desk
- Manage and execute client order properly through our system
- Business development, negotiations and close deals
- Compile, organize and maintain records of business transaction
- Calculate dealing prices in accordance with Company policies
- maintain strong relationship with our existing clients
- Business development into prospective clients and any other potential revenue-generating markets
- Work closely with front office and back-office staff to resolve client queries
- Update desk members on previous day trades and any broking issues
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the respective Managers
Job Requirements:
- Fluent communications in English and another additional language (Chinese Mandarin is preferred)
- Any prior experience living in or working with Mainland China market is preferred
- Prior broking or financial sales experience is preferred and will be considered for the Broker role. Candidates with no prior brokerage experience will be considered for the Junior Broker role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player and able to work independently
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well under pressure
