We are looking for a talented and experienced Bridal Makeup Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for beauty, a deep understanding of bridal makeup trends, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for creating flawless bridal looks that enhance the bride's natural beauty while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Bridal Makeup Application
- Consult with brides to understand their makeup preferences, skin type, and wedding theme.
- Create customized makeup looks that suit the bride's style and features.
- Apply long-lasting, high-definition makeup for photography and video.
- Offer pre-wedding trial makeup sessions to finalize the look.
Client Consultation & Experience
- Provide expert advice on skincare preparation before the wedding.
- Suggest makeup styles based on face shape, skin tone, and dress color.
- Ensure a calm and enjoyable makeup session on the wedding day.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding schedules and expectations.
Bridal Party & Additional Services
- Apply makeup for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride/groom, and other wedding guests.
- Offer touch-up services throughout the event, if required.
- Provide hair styling services (if applicable).
Hygiene & Product Knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of makeup tools and products.
- Stay updated with the latest bridal makeup trends and techniques.
- Use high-quality, skin-friendly, and long-lasting makeup products.
Business & Marketing Support
- Take before-and-after photos (with client consent) for portfolio and marketing.
- Promote services on social media platforms, wedding directories, and referrals.
- Maintain professional relationships with wedding planners, photographers, and salons.
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Bridal Makeup Artist (portfolio required).
- Able to work on Saturdays
- Passionate about makeup and the beauty industry
- Certification in Makeup Artistry / Cosmetology (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of bridal makeup styles, skin types, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work on tight schedules.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and travel to venues.
