About Prime Wellness:
Prime Wellness Group (PWG) is a Singapore-based distributor of salon haircare and FMCG hair & personal care brands, supporting partners with training, sales and technical expertise across the region.
- We're looking for a hands-on Brand & Marketing Manager to grow a portfolio of haircare/personal care brands across Salons, Modern trade and e-commerce—owning both commercial performance and brand building.
What you'll own (Key Responsibilities)1) Portfolio & P&L Ownership
- Own and deliver the annual sales, gross margin, and A&P budget for assigned brands/SKUs.
- Build and manage monthly forecasts, promotion plans, and spending control to hit targets.
- Track performance (sell-in/sell-out), evaluate campaign ROI, and course-correct quickly.
2) Commercial & Go-To-Market Strategy
- Develop and execute 4Ps strategy (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion) by channel.
- Build channel plans for key customers (e.g., Modern Trade / Pharmacy / Specialty / E-com) including trade terms, promo mechanics, and launch calendars.
- Drive revenue growth initiatives: price-pack architecture, margin optimization, SKU rationalization, promo efficiency.
3) Brand, Trade Marketing & Retail Execution
- Lead ATL/BTL planning and execution: in-store visibility, POSM, promoters, events, sampling, and shopper programs.
- Work closely with Sales/Merchandising to ensure excellent execution: planograms, shelf standards, compliance, and display wins.
- Create sales tools: brand decks, product training materials, retailer storylines, and support product/consumer enquiries.
4) Product & Supply Collaboration
- Partner principals/suppliers on range planning, NPD launches, cost discussions, and pipeline management.
- Work with Demand/Supply/Operations to maintain healthy inventory, reduce OOS/overstock, and improve turnaround.
5) Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop a small team (direct and dotted-line) and coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, E-commerce, Finance, SCM, and Operations.
- Manage key stakeholders: principals, retail buyers, and internal leadership through QBRs, launch reviews, and annual planning.
Requirements:
- 6–10 years experience in FMCG/beauty/personal care across brand marketing + trade marketing (distribution experience is a strong plus).
- Proven ability to manage P&L, forecasting, A&P, and promotion effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of Singapore retail/e-commerce landscape and how to win at shelf + online.
- Comfortable in an SME environment: hands-on, fast-paced, resourceful, and able to move from strategy to execution.
- Strong analytical skills (Excel/Sheets), clear communication, confident stakeholder management.
- Bonus: experience in haircare/salon brands, regional markets, or working with Japanese/Korean principals.
