Brand & Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Brand Management:

  • Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity across all communication channels.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with the organization's branding guidelines.
  • Protect and enhance the organization's reputation through strategic brand management.

Marketing and Communications

  • Develop and implement annual marketing and communication plans.
  • Produce compelling content for newsletters, brochures, annual reports, press releases, and promotional materials.
  • Manage the organization's website and social media platforms to increase public engagement.
  • Coordinate photography, videography, and storytelling to showcase the organization's impact.

Public Relations

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with media, community partners, sponsors, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and publicity opportunities.
  • Prepare speeches, presentations, and communication materials for senior management and board members.

Fundraising and Campaign support

  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop campaigns that increase donations and sponsorships.
  • Design promotional strategies for fundraising events and charitable initiatives.
  • Develop donor appreciation and recognition materials.

Events and Community Engagement

  • Plan, coordinate, and promote community outreach programmes, charity events, and public education campaigns.
  • Strengthen relationships with volunteers, corporate partners, educational institutions, and community organizations.
  • Increase public participation through strategic engagement initiatives.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Monitor website performance and optimize online content.

. Analyze digital engagement and recommend improvements.

Creative Development

  • Work with designers, photographers, printers and external agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Ensure all creative materials accurately represent the organization's values and charitable mission.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports on branding performance, media coverage, website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign outcomes.
  • Recommend improvements based on data and stakeholder feedback.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with management, programme teams, fundraising staff, and external partners to ensure integrated communication.
  • Support cross-functional projects that promote the organization's services and community impact.

Other Duties

  • Perform other branding, communication, and marketing-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in non-profit, social enterprises or charities is an added advantage.
  • 5.5 day work week.
