This is a 12 months contract role, working onsite with a telco client.
Role Summary: We are looking for a Brand and Social Media Executive to support the day-to-day management and growth of homegrown creator programme Singtel Friends, and Singtel's social channels. This role will primarily focus on community management & engagement, social listening, and cross-functional coordination, while driving short-form social content creation and publishing. The ideal candidate is highly organised, socially savvy, proactive in identifying trends and issues, and passionate about building meaningful online engagement for the brand.
Roles And Responsibilities
Primary: Community Management & Social Engagement
- Manage and support day-to-day operations of Singtel Friends and Singtel-owned social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Support the growth and engagement of the Singtel Friends creator community through passion-led initiatives, experiential activations, and brand engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate and support creator participation in events, launches, media previews, and PR-led engagements to deepen advocacy and strengthen relationships with the brand.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and partners to identify opportunities for meaningful creator collaborations and community experiences.
- Foster authentic relationships with creators, advocates, and community members to encourage ongoing participation, engagement, and positive brand affinity.
- Support outreach, communications, logistics, and post-event engagement tracking for creator and community initiatives.
- Deploy social listening tools to monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends
- Strive to boost engagement and resolve any potential conflicts that may affect brand reputation
- Identify emerging creator trends, audience interests, and passion points to inform future community engagement strategies
Social Media Operations & Coordination
- Support social media calendar management to ensure content is published accurately, on time, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate requests across multiple business units and stakeholders, ensuring smooth workflow management and prioritisation.
- Work closely with Brand Marketing Manager and agency partners to support implementation of Singtel's social and content strategies.
Secondary: Content Creation & Publishing
- Conceptualise and produce short-form social content optimised for engagement across platforms.
- Support copywriting, creative ideation, caption writing, simple editing, and social-first storytelling.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and agency teams to produce relevant, timely, and engaging content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, community management, or digital marketing, preferably within telco, consumer, retail, or fast-paced brand environments.
- Proven experience managing brand social media communities and handling community interactions professionally.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and forums.
- Familiarity with social listening, publishing, and analytics tools (e.g. Meltwater, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Strong copywriting and communication skills with an eye for tone, engagement, and audience behaviour.
- Intermediate-Advanced content creation and editing skills for short-form social content.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure during issues or crisis situations.
- Proactive, collaborative, and digitally curious with a passion for social media and online culture.
