Overall Job Responsibility
The Deputy Director, Brand & Marketing Communications will lead the development and growth of the SG Enable brand, strengthening public awareness, understanding and trust in the organisation and its role in advancing disability inclusion in Singapore.
As the strategic custodian of the SG Enable brand, you will shape the organisation's brand positioning and narrative, and lead the development of an integrated marketing communications strategy. You will drive greater impact and effectiveness across media, digital and social channels, while optimizing marketing investments to advance organisational priorities.
You will also champion Marketing Excellence across SG Enable, partnering Business Units to strengthen marketing capabilities, enhance agency and media effectiveness, and ensure that programmes and initiatives collectively reinforce a coherent and compelling SG Enable brand.
Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Stewardship
- Lead SG Enable's brand strategy, positioning, architecture and narrative.
- Strengthen public awareness and understanding of SG Enable and its role in Singapore's disability ecosystem.
- Establish brand frameworks and guidelines to ensure a consistent and compelling SG Enable brand across programmes, platforms and partnerships.
- Monitor brand health and identify opportunities to strengthen brand relevance and equity.
Integrated Marketing & Audience Growth
- Develop organisation-wide brand and integrated marketing communications strategies.
- Lead major brand-building initiatives and guide Business Units on campaign positioning, audience strategy and marketing effectiveness.
- Strengthen SG Enable's digital and social presence and grow engagement with key audiences.
- Develop content and storytelling strategies that bring SG Enable's purpose and impact to life.
Media & Marketing Excellence
- Provide strategic oversight of SG Enable's media strategy and investments.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate media investments and improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead the evaluation and management of creative, media and digital agencies.
- Establish marketing frameworks, toolkits, measurement standards and best practices across the organisation.
- Build marketing capabilities through coaching, training and knowledge sharing.
Strategic Partnership with Business Units
- Serve as a strategic brand and marketing advisor to Business Units and senior stakeholders.
- Help translate programme objectives into effective audience and marketing strategies.
- Ensure programmes and campaigns appropriately reinforce the SG Enable brand while achieving their respective objectives.
- Facilitate greater collaboration and integration of marketing activities across the organisation.
Insights & Performance
- Establish brand and marketing KPIs and measurement frameworks.
- Use audience research, digital analytics and campaign performance to guide marketing decisions.
- Drive greater accountability and optimisation of marketing and media investments.
Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing brand and marketing team.
- Manage agencies, resources and budgets effectively.
- Build strong relationships across SG Enable and with external partners to advance organisational priorities.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in brand management, integrated marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing or related fields, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong track record in developing brands and leading integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, audience insights, media, digital, social and content marketing.
- Experience managing creative, media and digital agencies and marketing investments.
- Strong analytical orientation with the ability to translate insights and performance data into strategic decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work across functions and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication and storytelling capabilities.
- Experience building marketing capabilities, governance or centres of excellence would be advantageous.
- Experience in the public, social impact or purpose-driven sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
