Lead, manage, and develop the branch's operations and commercial teams.

Coach and mentor team members to strengthen their operational and commercial capabilities.

Manage staff performance, training, recruitment, and development in coordination with management.
Business Development & Customer Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, ship managers, charterers, operators, brokers, and other maritime customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ship agency and maritime services sector.
Develop strategies to increase vessel calls, customer retention, and branch revenue.
Prepare and negotiate agency proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements within company guidelines.
Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for business growth.
Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, port-related activities, and maritime networking platforms.
Work closely with regional and global offices to develop cross-selling and account development opportunities.
Financial & Commercial Management
Take responsibility for the branch's revenue, profitability, cost control, and financial performance.
Monitor agency disbursements, operating expenses, credit exposure, and outstanding receivables.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of proforma disbursement accounts (PDA), final disbursement accounts (FDA), quotations, and invoices.
Review branch performance against budgets and business targets.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.
Ensure commercial activities are conducted within approved pricing and credit policies.
Compliance, Risk & Safety
Ensure branch operations comply with relevant maritime, port, customs, immigration, health, safety, environmental, and company requirements.
Maintain high standards of operational and documentation accuracy.
Ensure appropriate risk assessments and contingency plans are in place for vessel operations.
Investigate operational incidents and customer complaints and implement corrective actions where required.
Promote a strong safety and compliance culture across the branch.
