The Yard is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Branch Manager to lead the ongoing development and enhancement of one of our facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to build on an established foundation, further strengthen operations, grow membership, and enhance the overall customer experience.

About the Role

As Branch Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the continued growth of the branch. You will oversee daily operations, membership performance, financial management, and customer service while refining systems, improving processes, and strengthening community engagement. Working closely with the Marketing and Leadership teams, you will focus on increasing participation across programmes, camps, and events while embedding The Yard's culture and standards across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery across all programmes.

• Review and enhance existing systems and processes to improve operational effectiveness.

• Drive community engagement by building strong relationships with schools, parents, and local groups.

• Work collaboratively with Marketing to increase participation in classes, camps, and events.

• Oversee membership management, financial reporting, and revenue performance.

• Working with senior leadership recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team across customer service, sales, and coaching.

• Manage programmes, camps, and events to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

• Support wider business development initiatives and contribute to long-term growth strategies.

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership and operational management experience, ideally within sport, recreation, leisure, or customer-focused environments.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve and optimise existing systems.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Confidence in financial management and performance reporting.

• A passion for sport, youth development, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Flexibility to support events, camps, and occasional coaching responsibilities.
