Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a BPM Assistant Engineer / Technician:
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and support machine maintenance, troubleshooting, improvement, and evaluation activities for production equipment, electrical panels, and automation systems.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PM) activities, including maintenance of slip rings, vision systems, program backups, and other production equipment.
- Analyse machine and quality-related problems using troubleshooting tools such as PLC data loggers and simulation tools, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Investigate recurring or chronic equipment issues and propose improvement measures to enhance machine reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- Support machine model changeovers and conduct machine and quality confirmation after model changes.
- Plan, execute, and review preventive maintenance activities for assigned areas to improve maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, conduct periodic stock checks, and coordinate spare parts ordering to ensure sufficient availability for maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance procedures, manuals, reports, and technical documentation.
- Assist in training new team members on maintenance procedures and related activities.
- Maintain good 5S and housekeeping practices within assigned work areas and around production machines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications, safety requirements, and ISO procedures.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties and improvement activities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- At least NITEC or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
- Able to perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting work.
- Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC, Pro-face HMI, and Keyence Vision Systems will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of CAD, SolidWorks, materials, mechanical systems, or pneumatic systems will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for technical analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Good technical report writing and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn in a challenging manufacturing environment.
- Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts or normal shifts, depending on operational requirements.
- Willing to respond to urgent maintenance call-backs when required.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 2,100 +AWS +VB (1-3 Months)
- Working Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: Rotating Shift, including morning and night shifts
