Bookkeeper cum Administrative Assistant
Job Summary
Manage and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions while supporting efficient office operations and administrative tasks to ensure smooth business processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping entries to support financial integrity
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly to ensure timely financial transactions
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain an up-to-date financial status
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting documents for accountants to facilitate audits and reviews
- Organise and manage filing, data entry, and general administrative duties to support office efficiency
- Coordinate communication and transactions with suppliers, customers, and service providers to maintain strong business relationships
- Support day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive work environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification
- Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience to perform core financial tasks effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software to manage financial data efficiently
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills to maintain accurate documentation
- Ability to work independently with responsibility and attention to detail
- Experience in a small business or SME environment to adapt to dynamic work settings
- Proficiency in written Chinese and conversational Mandarin and English to communicate with diverse clientele
