Job Responsibilities

Navigate and operate the vessel safely, ensuring full responsibility for the vessel under your charge.

Maintain, inspect, and upkeep the vessel to ensure it remains in good working condition at all times.

Ensure all government-issued certifications and documents are valid and up to date.

Steer the vessel under the direction of surveyors, following designated routes and operational instructions.

Take instructions from Management and Clients, and promptly report any issues or operational concerns to the office.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management in support of daily operations.

Pre-Requisites / Requirements

Possess a valid MPA Helmsman/Steersman (Port Limit) licence or equivalent certification.

Must pass an approved eyesight test.

Preferably with prior experience operating harbour or coastal vessels.

Minimum Secondary 2 education.

Comfortable and willing to work outdoors.
