Boarding Officer (Ship Agency)

Responsibilities

• Handle arrival and departure of ships.
• Liaise with shipowners/operators.
• Plan and carry out port husbandry activities. (Husbandry: maintenance, repair, and cleaning of vessels)
• Oversee operations and documentation of cargo.
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee planning of resources.
• Service client accounts.
• Expand business of ship agencies.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with maritime operations and port procedures
• Strong understanding of immigration and port regulations
• Proficient in computer and administrative tools
• Able to work independently or in a team, including during non-standard hours
• Excellent planning, coordination, and communication abilities
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a positive work attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Capable of performing under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively
