We are looking for a highly skilled Blockchain Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure powering next-generation decentralized gaming ecosystems. In this role, you will architect and maintain high-performance blockchain systems that support NFTs, marketplace transactions, staking mechanics, and multi-chain game operations across EVM and Solana networks.
You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure secure, real-time, and scalable blockchain connectivity for a global gaming community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable blockchain infrastructure, including high-availability RPC nodes and endpoints across Ethereum-compatible networks such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base, along with Solana.
- Develop middleware services using Node.js and TypeScript to synchronize blockchain activity with backend systems built on MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Build and manage Subgraphs using The Graph or custom indexing solutions for tracking NFT activity, marketplace transfers, staking rewards, and on-chain game events.
- Implement cross-chain integrations and decentralized oracle solutions such as Chainlink VRF to support secure and transparent gameplay mechanics.
- Evaluate and integrate Layer 2 scaling solutions to optimize transaction throughput and reduce gas costs for users.
- Monitor blockchain infrastructure performance, uptime, and transaction latency to ensure reliable live operations and analytics.
- Enforce best practices for blockchain security, decentralized storage (IPFS), and smart contract interactions.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to document and improve blockchain architecture and operational workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in blockchain infrastructure and multi-chain systems.
- Deep understanding of EVM-compatible networks including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and related node architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Ethers.js, and Web3.js.
- Proven experience managing RPC infrastructure, blockchain indexing systems, and decentralized storage technologies like IPFS.
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to document complex technical systems in a remote-first environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Solana ecosystem development, including Solana Web3.js, Rust, or Anchor.
- Strong understanding of Chainlink services including VRF and Price Feeds.
- Exposure to blockchain analytics, transaction monitoring, and game economy auditing tools.
- Prior experience working in Web3 gaming, NFTs, or decentralized marketplaces is a plus.
