About Our Client

The client is a major healthcare organisation in Singapore with a large and diverse network of clinical services and education functions. They are currently undergoing a significant multiyear campus redevelopment project that will modernise patient care, expand infrastructure, and improve clinical workflows across departments. The organisation operates in a complex, fastpaced environment, involving close collaboration between clinical teams, operations, planners, and technical specialists. Known for its strong focus on innovation, teaching, and integrated care, the institution is investing heavily in new facilities, advanced technologies, and long-term capability building.

Job Description

  • Support end-to-end planning, specification, and procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, as well as furniture where required.
  • Lead and facilitate user workgroups, ensuring clear documentation, accurate requirements, and well-managed stakeholder discussions.
  • Prepare technical specifications for tender packages and evaluate vendor submissions for technical compliance.
  • Provide recommendations to stakeholders on equipment selection, vendor proposals, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Work closely with designers, planners, and internal teams during the campus redevelopment process.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring procurement aligns with cost targets.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
  • Support the institution's Biomedical Engineering (BME) policies, procedures, and operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in service/maintenance of medical equipment within hospitals or medical device companies.
  • Exposure to healthcare equipment planning, tender evaluation, or hospital development is highly advantageous.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with clinicians and operational teams.
  • Organized, meticulous, and analytical - able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
  • Basic understanding of IT networks or cybersecurity related to medical equipment is a plus.
