Job Summary
Support the BIM Manager by creating, updating, and maintaining BIM models throughout project lifecycles to ensure quality and accuracy for construction, documentation, and fabrication purposes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the BIM Manager in creating, updating, and revising BIM models throughout the project lifecycle to maintain accuracy and relevance
- Develop BIM models based on contract drawings, construction drawings, coordination inputs, and the latest project information
- Ensure the integrity and quality of BIM models by performing thorough checks and validations
- Generate documentation and shop drawings derived from BIM models to support construction and fabrication processes
- Produce BIM model deliverables tailored for construction, documentation, and fabrication needs
- Develop BIM models with accurate parameters and attributes to enable BIM-based quantification and 4D simulation for project planning
- Enhance BIM models with parameters and attributes to support additional BIM deliverables such as 5D progress evaluation and 6D asset and facility management
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues in BIM models to BIM Coordinators for resolution
- Travel to project sites as required to support BIM-related activities and coordination
- Perform any other duties assigned to support BIM and project objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in M&E Discipline, Engineering, Construction, or related fields
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of local experience in the construction industry
- Proficiency in BIM software and tools
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working with Revit and Navisworks software
