Job Summary
You will develop and maintain precise 3D BIM models and construction documentation, coordinate multidisciplinary models, and support BIM execution to ensure design accuracy and project success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD to support project design and construction needs
- Generate detailed construction drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models to facilitate clear project communication and execution
- Coordinate and integrate models from architecture, structure, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless design collaboration and reduce conflicts
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify and resolve model-related issues and conflicts promptly
- Conduct clash detection and perform model audits to maintain design integrity and compliance with project requirements
- Ensure BIM models comply with company and project-specific BIM standards to uphold quality and consistency
- Support the BIM Manager in implementing BIM execution plans and workflows to enhance project delivery efficiency
- Update and maintain BIM libraries and content to provide accurate and current resources for project teams
- Participate actively in project meetings to contribute to design coordination and BIM-related discussions
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, to create and manage BIM models effectively
- Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols such as ISO 19650 and PAS 1192 to ensure compliance and best practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately translate design intent into BIM models
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field to provide foundational knowledge of construction and design principles
- Understanding of construction methods and detailing to enhance model accuracy and relevance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex BIM data and documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
