Job Summary
Develop and maintain BIM models for semiconductor facility projects, ensuring design accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models for semiconductor facility projects using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM software to support design and construction phases
- Prepare detailed 3D models for process piping systems and tool hook-up services to facilitate accurate project execution
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with multiple disciplines to minimize site conflicts and improve constructability
- Generate shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings from BIM models to support project documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability throughout project lifecycle
- Update BIM models based on site changes, contractor feedback, RFIs, and revised drawings to maintain model accuracy
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM execution plans, and company standards to meet quality requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, BIM, or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of BIM modelling experience, preferably in semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to produce accurate BIM models and drawings
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and construction specifications to ensure correct model development
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment with tight schedules to meet project deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of process piping, exhaust, HVAC, UPW, PCW, CDA, gas, and chemical systems to enhance BIM modelling accuracy
- Site experience in tool hook-up or facility installation works to support practical understanding of construction processes
