BIM Modeller

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for fire protection and ACMV systems.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and technical reports from BIM models.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to integrate designs and resolve clashes effectively.
• Manage model version control and maintain data integrity throughout the project.
• Perform quantity take-offs directly from BIM models and assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and material schedules.
• Ensure all documentation meets project requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety codes, ACMV standards, ISO BIM guidelines, and company BIM protocols and data management practices.
• Identify and implement improvements to BIM workflows and QS integration.

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field from a local institution is preferred.
• Proficient in BIM tools and drafting practices, particularly Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Familiar with BIM workflows, practices, and submission standards in the Singapore construction industry.
• Excellent 2D drafting and 3D modeling skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and convert them into BIM models.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, especially for clash detection and resolution.
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
