BIM Modeller / Drafter (Revit & AutoCAD)

Job Description

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented BIM Modeller / Drafter (Revit & AutoCAD) to support our design and construction projects. This role combines BIM modelling and drafting responsibilities, requiring hands-on involvement in developing coordinated 3D models as well as producing accurate 2D construction and shop drawings.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, consultants, and site teams, supporting digital delivery and drafting output across multiple project phases. This role offers exposure to complex, large-scale reinforced concrete and infrastructure projects in a collaborative and technically driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit

• Perform drafting duties using AutoCAD, including preparation, modification, and detailing of 2D construction, shop, and as-built drawings

• Translate engineering and design intent into clear, accurate BIM models and drawings for construction use

• Coordinate BIM models and drawings with engineers, designers, consultants, and site teams to ensure accuracy and constructability

• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks

• Generate construction documentation, including drawings, schedules, and visualisations

• Support design coordination meetings and assist in resolving technical, coordination, and constructability issues

• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, CAD standards, workflows, and documentation requirements

• Maintain proper file management, drawing registers, and revision control within BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud

• Stay updated on BIM and CAD software developments, tools, and industry best practices

• Provide basic BIM and drafting support or guidance to team members when required

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of relevant BIM modelling and drafting experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (mandatory)

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting, detailing, and shop drawings

• Experience with Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred

• Good understanding of construction methods, reinforced concrete works, and building materials

• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and structural drawings accurately

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based project environment

• Good verbal and written communication skills
