Job Summary
Support BIM Coordinators and assist Project Managers by developing and maintaining high-quality BIM models and detailed engineering drawings to ensure accurate project documentation and facilitate construction and fabrication processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist BIM Coordinators in creating, updating, and revising BIM models throughout the project lifecycle to maintain model accuracy and integrity
- Produce precise AUTOCAD and REVIT BIM drawings by coordinating with site teams to meet project specifications
- Ensure the quality and consistency of BIM models to support construction, documentation, and fabrication deliverables
- Complete comprehensive documentation including detailed engineering drawings, construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to produce complete drawing sets
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues during the design stage to BIM Coordinators for timely resolution
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software to produce detailed electrical drawings
- Skilled in operating Revit software to develop and manage BIM models
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications for project documentation and communication
- Ability to perform project estimating tasks accurately
- Certificate in advanced AutoCAD and Revit MEP courses demonstrating technical proficiency
