Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Set up, prepare and produce structural BIM Models using Autodesk Revit Structure for contract documents and coordination.
• Produce structural engineering detailed drawings that comply with company and industry standards, within a specified timeframe as directed and ensure accuracy of documents/Shop drawings based on BIM Modelling.
• Generate BIM models, shop drawings, updating and revising BIM Models throughout the project life cycle.
• Facilitate clash resolution process in terms of modelling and adjustment under Engineers guidance
• Prepare submission drawings with presentation format to authorities.
• Highlight and resolve technical problems and details independently and seek advice when required.
• Work with team members and managers to meet the project deliverable and timeline.
• Participate in knowledge and information sharing with other team members.

Key Requirements

• Specialist Diploma in BIM /relevant engineering diploma
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling (engineering consulting environment will be an advantage)
• Familiar with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission (Corenet X) and approval procedures.
• Competent user of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork etc
• Good written & spoken communication skills in English
• Able to work independently & exercise initiative
• Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
