BIM Drafter /BIM Modeler
About theRole
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Drafter / BIMModeler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible fordeveloping accurate BIM models, producing technical drawings, and supportingproject coordination throughout various stages of design and construction. Thisrole requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, project managers,and regional teams to deliver high-quality project documentation. This role will be base in Petaling Jayaoffice.
KeyResponsibilities
- Develop,maintain, and update Building Information Models (BIM) for project execution.
- Produce accurate 3D BIM models and detailed technical drawings in accordance with project requirements.
- Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and construction documentation from BIM models for tender and construction purposes.
- Ensure all drawings and models are properly documented and prepared for project submissions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and project compliance.
- Perform model reviews, quality checks, and clash detection to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Support project site coordination activities when required.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team during pre-sales presentations and post-sales project discussions.
- Maintain BIM standards and ensure compliance with company and project requirements.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Construction Management, Building Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modelling, drafting, or a similar role within the construction or building industry.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawing standards, building codes, and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with visualization and rendering software such as SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and project workflows particularly in industrial and hyperscale data centers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and regional team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within deadlines.
