BIM Modeler

Job Description (Key Responsibilities)

• Prepare, develop and maintain BIM models (Architectural / Structural / M&E) according to project requirements and BIM Execution Plan.

• Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction drawings from BIM models.

• Assist in clash detection and coordination with consultants, main contractor, and sub-contractors (M&E / ACMV / Electrical / Plumbing).

• Update models based on site changes, RFIs, and design revisions ensure proper version control.

• Prepare as-built models and ensure models reflect actual installation.

• Extract BIM information for BOQ/quantity take-off when required.

• Maintain BIM deliverables and documentation (model files, families, templates, naming standards).

• Attend coordination meetings and support BIM submissions (e.g., BIM e-submission if required by project).

Requirements (Qualifications & Skills)

• Diploma / ITE / Certificate in BIM, Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or equivalent.

• Minimum 1-3 years BIM modelling experience (fresh graduates with strong skills may apply).

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (M&E preferred) knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and site coordination requirements.

• Familiar with BIM standards, modelling workflow, and file management practices.

• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal team, consultants, and contractors.

• Strong attention to detail, able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience in ACMV/HVAC, chilled water piping, ducting, drainage, electrical containment, plumbing.

• Knowledge of BIM 360 / ACC, Dynamo (basic), AutoCAD, or Tekla (if applicable).

• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and coordination process (HDB/Condo/Industrial projects).

• Able to work independently and on-site coordination when required.
