You will design and prepare detailed shop drawings and BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Support project teams through training and workflow improvements to enhance BIM-based quantification and simulation.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare detailed shop drawings for project submissions
- Develop and maintain BIM models and libraries with accurate parameters for BIM-based quantification and 4D simulation
- Create plan, elevation, section, and detail drawings with proper annotation for architectural approval
- Establish and maintain office BIM standards and procedures for sheet layout, layering, modeling processes, and drawing formats
- Prepare design and drafting schedules for project approval
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and processes to improve proficiency and project outcomes
- Assist in developing and improving BIM workflows and standards to enhance efficiency and consistency
Required competencies and certifications
- Technically delivers CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM Coordination
- Understanding of the VDC/CAD/BIM industry, concepts, practices, and procedures
- Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering, M&E, Building, or equivalent
