Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate Building Information Modelling (BIM) models throughout the project construction period to support digital project delivery
- Adhere to project information requirements, modelling, and exchange protocols to facilitate effective information sharing among stakeholders
- Follow the drawing management system (DMS) for information collection, filing, workflow, and process compliance
- Perform BIM deliverables according to the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) derived from Organization Information Requirement (OIR) and Project Information Requirement (PIR)
- Report daily BIM activities and progress to supervisors
- Develop detailed Architectural and Structural BIM models and perform quality checks to ensure models are fit for coordination
- Conduct clash detection, document discrepancies, and present findings in weekly Interdisciplinary Coordination (ICE) meetings
- Coordinate BIM modelling activities with project technical teams and consultants to resolve issues and update models accordingly
- Produce clash-free coordinated BIM models to support construction planning
- Generate construction drawings including Concrete Body Plans, Wall Setting Out, Tile Setting Out, and General Arrangement drawings
- Adhere to drawing schedules and maintain high-quality standards in construction drawing production
- Track and record the status of all drawings to ensure timely delivery
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in BIM modelling and construction drawing production
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Moderate proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD, NavisWorks or BimX, BIM 360, and BIMCloud
