Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, submit and maintain the BEP throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with LTA requirements and project objectives.
- Establish and enforce contract-wide BIM standards, workflows and protocols for modelling, coordination and information exchange.
- Lead and coordinate all project-wide BIM matters with the SO, project stakeholders and interfacing contracts.
- Coordinate with PBM/PBC of interfacing contracts to manage modelling interfaces, information exchanges and federated model consistency.
- Lead and facilitate ICE meetings, including preparation of materials, coordination of participants and closure of action items.
- Oversee and manage PBCs and BIM coordinators within the Contract, ensuring clear responsibilities, alignment and performance.
- Identify and provide targeted digital and BIM-related training or guidance to support submission reviews and project delivery needs.
- Define, implement and manage project-wide digital delivery strategies, including adoption of BIM/VDC/IDD best practices, tools and innovations.
- Establish improvement and mitigation measures to address delivery risks, inefficiencies or capability gaps.
- Establish and manage BIM QA/QC procedures, schedules and acceptance criteria for all BIM deliverables.
- Oversee regular coordination and clash detection processes for PIM, AIM and CCSM, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Monitor and verify closure of design and construction conflicts arising from federated models.
- Ensure contract-wide compliance of PIM and AIM with PIR, LTAEIR, LOIN and relevant regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Oversee information structure, attribute completeness and data readiness prior to submission to the SO or exchange with InfP.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of geo-coordinates, orientation and spatial alignment across all discipline models and federated models.
- Verify and rectify misalignment issues prior to submissions and information exchanges with interfacing contracts.
- Establish, manage and oversee the Contractor's CDE, including access control, workflows, templates and BIM object libraries.
- Ensure appropriate BIM software and hardware resources are in place to support project delivery.
- Implement and oversee cyber security, preventive and corrective measures for project data in accordance with contractual and LTA requirements (including Clause 22.3.15).
- Monitor and report BIM progress, risks and issues to the SO and project management team.
- Support the SO during BIM-related submission reviews by providing clarifications, demonstrations and technical explanations where required.
Job Requirements:
- At least 7 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.
- 5 years of BIM experience as a Project level BIM Manager role in a large scale or infrastructure project and has completed one full project cycle at design phase or construction phase is an advantage.
- Conversant in 2 4D or 5D software, and one coordination software such as Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360, Solibri Office, VRCollab,
- Navigator, Synchro Pro, Fuzor, CostX, Cubicost, etc.
Qualifications:
A Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural with
- Certified with Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) or
- Certified with Digital Delivery Specialist (DDM Tier 2) and
- any BIM authoring software's modelling course by the software vendor's authorised training provider.
