Attend and chair VDC and technical meetings with Clients, Consultants and Sub-contractors.
Establish BIM implementation plan, requirements, process and workflow to ensure that BIM data meets the project deliverable requirements for industrial construction projects
Perform quality control on all models provided by BIM coordinators/authors on the project
Lead and support BIM Coordinators and BIM modelers to deliver the work on time and with high standards
Works closely with project team in coordinating, organizing and producing of shop drawings and documentations using BIM Technologies
Lead periodical coordination meetings to resolve BIM technical issues including coordination and clash issues
Embrace a holistic approach and strategical plan for BIM execution in industrial projects
Develop a training program for BIM Coordinators and BIM modelers to improve the use of BIM authoring tools
Develop a training program for department managers and engineers to improve the use of BIM tools
Explore innovation and encourage the use of advanced tools / technologies to expand the use of BIM within the company Lead a team of structural archi coordinators/BIM modellers
Plan, organize and supervise the production of submission drawings and construction drawings.
Coordinate and collaborate with all parties within the Contract and interfacing contracts BIM Managers and / or BIM Coordinators.
Establish, implement, and facilitate clash detection analysis to identify, resolve and validate all design and construction conflicts within the Contract and Interfacing Parties.
Update, manage, monitor, and track all model changes records.
Establish clash detection analysis matrix and 3D Coordination schedule.
Prepare, maintain, and update the clash detection analysis resolution and validation reports. To ensure d enforce all identified design and construction conflicts have been rectified. Oversee, coordinate, and manage the BIM Coordinators within the Contract to meet all BIM Deliverables submission and information exchange schedules.
Supervise Modeler / Technical Co-ordinator and prepare drawings.
Ensure models / drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM project workflow criteria / checklist.
Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.
Requirements
Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or certification
More than 8 years of hands-on experience in the implementation and management of BIM Models for implementing building and industrial projects in the Architectural/ C&S/ MEP disciplines
Good knowledge of BIM software (Revit, Autocad, Navisworks).
Proficient in Revit (BIM), Navisworks, AutoCAD and familiar with Authority submission process d procedure
Knowledge of 4D & 5D will be an added advantage
Has completed at least one full project cycle from design to as built stage.
Able to understand construction plan of industrial projects
Strong knowledge in local regulations, code of practices, standards and authority submission
Good interpersonal and written skills
Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
