As a BIM M&E Drafter, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare and develop detailed Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) drawings and design layouts for project execution.
- Carry out quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services and prepare documentation for submissions and procurement purposes.
- Conduct site inspections to verify installation works and assist in testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare construction drawings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, civil contractors, and other M&E contractors to resolve technical and coordination issues.
- Perform duct sizing calculations manually and using relevant duct sizing/checking software.
- Assist in the design and selection of mechanical ventilation fans, grilles, and diffusers.
- Support senior modelers in the preparation of Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and authority submissions.
Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Engineering or Certificate from BCA BIM modelling course.
- Relevant working experience in BIM M&E or ACMV is advantageous.
