BIM Engineer (Infrastructure) 4D & 5D Model - North

Our client is a reputable engineering and infrastructure contractor involved in large-scale civil and construction projects across Singapore. Due to business expansion and increasing project demand, they are looking to hire a BIM Engineer to strengthen their digital engineering capabilities and support ongoing project delivery. They are located in the (North) - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Building Information Modelling (BIM) data for construction projects, ensuring models are aligned with project documentation and design specifications.

• Generate and update integrated 3D models covering civil, structural, architectural, and M&E disciplines.

• Produce model-based deliverables including technical drawings, construction documentation, and fabrication information.

• Review BIM models prepared by internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance with internal digital engineering standards.

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions, incorporating revisions and clarifications into project models.

• Prepare coordinated models for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination activities.

• Configure model parameters and data attributes to support construction simulation and cost modelling workflows.

• Create and maintain BIM object libraries and parametric model components for project usage.

• Identify design inconsistencies or coordination issues within BIM environments and escalate to relevant engineering teams.

• Support the preparation and submission of model-derived shop drawings and construction documentation.

• Provide technical guidance to junior modelling personnel when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3years of experience in BIM modelling or digital engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.

• Hands-on experience working with BIM coordination in contractor or consultancy environments.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks for model development and coordination.

• Familiarity with 4D scheduling simulation and 5D cost integration workflows.

• Working knowledge of Dynamo / Civil3D will be advantageous.

• Prior involvement in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
