The BIM Engineer (Digital System & Integration) is responsible for developing, integrating and maintaining the company's Digital Engineering ecosystem to support construction project delivery and business digitalisation initiatives. The role focuses on integrating Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Autodesk Platform Services (APS), SharePoint, Power BI, Workato and AI-enabled digital solutions to enable seamless information exchange, workflow automation and intelligent decision support.
The successful candidate will design and implement API integrations, develop automation solutions, and support the adoption of digital engineering technologies across multiple construction projects. The role will also be responsible for the continuous development and enhancement of the company's AI-powered Digital Engineering platform, leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs) and enterprise knowledge management technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrations using Autodesk Platform Services (APS), REST APIs and Workato.
- Design and implement workflow automation using Python, PowerShell, Workato and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Integrate Autodesk Construction Cloud with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Microsoft Graph and other enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data pipelines for project performance monitoring.
- Support the implementation and integration of Autodesk Revit, Solibri, Tekla Structures, Navisworks and other BIM applications.
- Develop digital solutions for document management, model coordination, issue tracking, asset management and QA/QC workflows.
- Design, develop and enhance Beacon, the company's AI-powered knowledge platform, including:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
- Large Language Model (LLM) integration.
- Vector database management using Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB.
- OpenAI API integration.
- Enterprise document ingestion, indexing and semantic search.
- AI chatbot development and optimisation for engineering knowledge retrieval.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Autodesk Platform Services (APS) is preferred. Familiarity with Python, PowerShell or other programming languages.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0 authentication and cloud-based integrations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint, Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI application development is advantageous.
- Experience in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) administration or Autodesk Platform Services (APS) development.
- Experience developing API integrations and workflow automation using Workato, Microsoft Power Automate or similar integration platforms.
- Experience integrating BIM software including Autodesk Revit, Solibri, Tekla Structures and Navisworks.
- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.6.
- Experience developing or supporting AI-powered applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases (e.g. Alibaba Cloud AnalyticDB, Pinecone, Milvus or equivalent) and OpenAI API integration will be an added advantage.
