Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural 3D models and detailed drawings using Tekla Structures, covering both steel and reinforced concrete (RC) works
- Produce general arrangement (GA) drawings, shop drawings, rebar detailing, and construction documentation to project specifications and Singapore standards
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and project teams to develop BIM models, and resolve design or detailing issues
- Prepare and update tender-stage drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and area plans for project quotation purposes
- Assist in preparing drawings for BCA and other regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with local building codes
- Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and file management in accordance with project protocols
- Support coordination with consultants and contractors across disciplines including architectural, civil, and MEP where required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural drafting or detailing, with hands-on experience in a BIM environment
- Proficient in Tekla Structures, experience with both steel detailing and RC rebar detailing is strongly preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and construction documentation
- Familiarity with IFC file format export and BIM coordination workflows
- Working knowledge of Singapore building codes, BCA standards, and submission requirements
- Good understanding of structural drawings, steel fabrication, concrete construction practices, and standard detailing conventions
- Experience with Revit will be an advantage
