The BIM Developer & Computational Designer shall be in charge of developing & integrating technology and design processes across all stages of project development, from conceptual design through to construction, and possess a strong understanding of BIM principles, computational design tools, and the ability to create and implement solutions that streamline workflows and enhance project delivery.

- Develop and optimize BIM program to enhance project efficiency across all phases (design, coordination, and construction).
- Design and develop computational workflows for BIM design.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless BIM coordination.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software, tools, and computational design techniques.
- Develop and maintain libraries, templates, and tools that promote efficient use of BIM across the firm.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM, computational design, and other related technologies.
- Explore new methodologies, software, and best practices to push the boundaries of design and construction technology.
- Contribute to research and development initiatives related to digital design, automation, and BIM integration.
- Maintain high-quality standards for BIM models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and enforce standards for model creation, data management, and collaborative workflows.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent certificates with a strong background in computational design & mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM development, computational design, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years relevant hands-on experience in using REVIT for BIM modelling in CSA and M&E construction projects for Semicon industry working for subcontracting firm or main-con.
- Excellent understanding of commercial ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) and computational design tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-based BIM platforms.
- Experience with data management and integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and think critically.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- A passion for technology and design innovation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (including technical writing and presentations) with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and senior management staff.
