Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive BIM Coordinator to lead our digital construction workflows. In this role, you will be responsiblefor the end-to-end management of 3D modelling, cross-trade coordination, and model quality control. You will serve as the technical bridge between clients,consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery meets the highest BIM standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Modelling & Shop Drawing Management: Oversee the full 3D modelling process across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines. Ensure the seamless transition from 3D models to accurate, buildable shop drawings.
- Clash Coordination: Perform rigorous Clash Detection between different trades. Generate detailed Clash Detection Reports and lead the resolution process during Technical BIM Meetings.
- Meeting Leadership: Manage and chair BIM Coordination and Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) meetings to drive collaborative problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of coordination between the Client, Consultants, and Sub-contractors to align project objectives.
- Quality Control: Audit and control 3D models to ensure they strictly adhere to Project BIM requirements and organizational standards.
- BIM Strategy: Maintain and update the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Controls (4D/5D): Develop and manage construction models for 5D quantification (Cost) and 4D simulation (Scheduling) to support project management.
Requirements
- Education: Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Architectural/ C&S/ MEP BIM-related projects.
- BIM Certificate: BIM/VDC/ IDD Diploma or Equivalent Certificate
- Digital Delivery Management: Tier 2 or 3
- Technical Proficiency:
i. Expert Knowledge: Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage.
ii. Specialized Tools: Proficient in Solibri, Revizto, andAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Competencies: Strong understanding of local BIM standards, excellent communication skills for chairing meetings, and a deep knowledge of construction sequences.
